They can provide maritime companies with the best possible operational environments and develop cluster-related policies, finance education as well as arrange events to increase their networking possibilities. Public and third sector actors can offer support in innovation and internationalization activities for aspiring maritime companies. Various associations are also involved in promoting and lobbying the interests of their member companies in the political arenas.
